Emergency Room
Certified as a Level IV Trauma Center the Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day with qualified physicians and nurses to handle your emergency needs.
Skilled Nursing
After surgery or a severe illness, a patient may need professional care to aid in recovery transition from hospital to home. Patients recovering from illness or injury such as stroke, heart attack, cardiac surgery, hip and knee replacements, pneumonia, wound infections and dehydration can benefit from skilled nursing services.
Scott & White Hospital – Taylor is unique in offering this level of post-acute care or “swing bed service”’ not available in most acute care hospitals. The professional skilled nursing staff at Scott & White Hospital – Taylor can provide a complete spectrum of care for the recovering patient (as prescribed by a physician) including: Physical Therapy *, Occupational Therapy * and Speech Therapy, IV medication administration, Respiratory Therapy, 24-hour skilled nursing care and wound care. The Sleep Lab at Scott & White Hospital – Taylor offers accurate diagnosis and treatment for a variety of sleep related conditions. For conditions requiring more extensive treatment, we are an extension of the Scott & White Sleep Institute in Temple, Texas.
